Finca Cortesin - what a course.
If you are up to it play it off the back tees. It might kill you after 5 hours of trashing the ball and your arms may grow a few centimetres but it’s something you won’t forget and it’s great for the old chat afterwards.
Don’t even dream of trying to walk it though unless you are really into inflicting pain on yourself.

Just returned from Spain having played Rio Real, San Roque old, Sotogrande and Finca Cortesin. Finca Cortesin has to be one of the best experiences that i've had on a golf course. From the moment we arrived we were trated like royalty. I had barely parked the car and a staff member was waiting to take our clubs to the first tee. We were then shown where all the amenities were and had a lovely breakfast overlooking the practice area which was superbly set up. When we arrived at our buggy having tsken some time at the complimentary driving range, all our refreshments for the day were already supplied. The course itself is magnificent, absolute immaculate condition from tee to green and a super test of golf. We had barely two holes played and another staff member greeted us with more water and fruit for the round. This continued for the full 18 holes. This, in my opinion, is a must if you are travelling to the south of Spain. The service at Finca Cortesin was fantastic with extremely friendly staff who made us feel very welcome at the Club.

Lucky enough to have apartment next to Finca Cortesin Golf club - fabulous greens and course looking mature despite it being new. Very challenging but spectacular for holiday in costa del sol golfing.
