Opened in late 2003 San Roque new course was designed by Perry Dye and Seve Ballesteros.

Designed to be different according to Seve who says it "has a very links feel to it with bunkers playing an important part in their design. Designed to be an enjoyable challenge for armatures. It's a very open course and one where you know where you are going. In 2006 it hosted the Spanish Open.
